Ombre is a trend that has lately been seen everywhere. I first remember reading about the ombre trend
last summer, on Lauren Conrad’s website, ‘The beauty department’, where they
featured hair crayons for an easy ‘do it yourself’ ombre hair tutorial which
you could wash out. The colourful trend
has since been seen everywhere, from hair, clothes, nails and even scrumptious looking
cakes! It has since come a long way and has recently been seen on the catwalks, with the likes of Missoni and Christopher Kane all introducing the dip dye trend into their lines, for a more everyday look.
The ombre trend is such an effortless look that can easily be created yourself, I even tried my hand at dip dyeing a t shirt, and not only was it a lot of fun, the finished product also looked great, perfect with a light washed pair of jeans!
The ombre trend can be worked into any look, if you're feeling daring, you can try it out on your hair, or just wear the trend on your nails!
One thing is for sure, this bold and colourful trend does not seem to be dye-ing out any time soon! ( Sorry couldn't help myself!)
